FREEMARTIN DETERMINATION
When a female calf is born with a male twin, it is likely that she will be infertile, (known as a freemartin).  This test is strictly for female calves born to male twins and only blood samples, taken shortly after birth, can be submitted. We suggest you call the laboratory directly to discuss freemartin testing.
